Supposed Jack and Ben lift a sack of rice weighing 150 Newton's from the ground to a height of 1.5 meters.

 How will you describe the work done and the time it takes Jack and ben lift the sack of rice?

Solution:
Given:
                Force                 = 150 N or 150 kg.m/s2
                Displacement    = 1.5 meter
                Time                  = 5 seconds (Jack)
                                           =15 seconds (Ben)
Computation:
                    Work (W) =force (f) x displacement (d)
                                W = fd
                                 W= (150 kg.m/s2) 1.5 m
                                 W= 225 kg.m2/s2

Answer: The work done for both of them is equal but in terms of their power it differs to each other.

 The greater the power, the lesser the time needed.
