Biblical Passage:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
— John 1:1 (NIV)
Opening Prayer
Lord Jesus, as I reflect on who You truly are, open my heart and mind to worship You not only as Savior, but as God Himself. Strengthen my faith and deepen my reverence for You today. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Daily Reflection – Jesus Is Not Just a Teacher
There are days when I catch myself thinking of Jesus primarily as a guide, a healer, or a moral example. But this verse confronts me with a far greater truth: Jesus is God.
John does not hesitate or soften his words. From the very beginning, Jesus existed—not as a created being, not as a lesser power—but as God Himself. This changes everything about how I live, trust, and follow Him.
If Jesus is God, then His words carry divine authority. His promises are not hopeful suggestions; they are guarantees. His sacrifice is not symbolic; it is sufficient. My faith is not placed in an idea or philosophy, but in the living God who stepped into human history.
Reality Application – Living Under His Lordship
Believing that Jesus is God means surrendering more than admiration—it requires obedience. I cannot selectively follow His teachings while ignoring His authority.
When I acknowledge Jesus as God, I allow Him to rule my decisions, reshape my priorities, and redefine my identity. Faith becomes more than belief; it becomes submission.
A Word of Encouragement
The God who created the universe chose to walk among us.
He knows your struggles.
He holds your future.
Jesus is not distant—He is divine and present.
Daily Challenge – Honor Jesus as Lord
Today, I challenge myself—and you—to examine how you respond to Jesus. Do not treat Him as optional or secondary. Worship Him, trust Him fully, and submit every area of life to His authority.
Closing Prayer
Jesus, You are not only my Savior—you are my God. I surrender my life, my plans, and my future to You. Reign in my heart today and always. In Jesus Name, Amen.
